COMFORT KIT LIST
EMERGENCY COMFORT KITS - THIS YEAR WE HAVE A "SCHOOL-WIDE COMFORT KIT"
This year our school was very fortunate to receive some generous donations from the Thrifty Foods Quadra store. The donation of 200 juice boxes and 200 granola bars has ensured that should an emergency occur where our students will have to stay at school for longer than usual, ALL students will have a snack and juice to help comfort them. In additon to this, our PAC (particularly Mrs. Wilkerson) work hard with staff to make sure we are well prepared for emergencies. We are
fortunate to have a kiosk full of supplies and well-trained staff to guide children though any type of emergency.
If you would like to keep a "personal" comfort kit in your child's packpack, some suggestions are: :  · Photo of family,
friends, pets, etc… · Non perishable snack or favorite treat, e.g. granola bar, pudding cup, fruit snack Chocolate bar, crackers. · Juice box · Comforting note to your child reassuring them that everything is OK and they are safe 
*** All items should fit into a small Ziploc bag and be kept in your child's backpack***
The School-wide Comfort Kit will be stored in the kiosk and distributed to ALL students, should need be.
